Roger's Rant Folk Music Festival ceilidh fundraising folk dance

I just heard from Roger Harrall that he is running a fundraiser ceilidh or folk dance for his excellent mini-festival, Roger's Rant at Milborne St Andrew, which I visited and enjoyed last year. The fundraiser is being run in association with The Sunray Folk Club.

One of the nice features of Roger's mini folk festival was his use of a scratch band at his festival ceilidh folk dance and Roger is again looking for musicians who would like to join the scratch band and play at the ceilidh under the eminent leadership of band workshop organiser Martin Jardine. The fundraiser band has been given the name 'Roger’s Rant Big Band'. (If you would like to play in the band ask Roger Harrall for details.) Caller for the ceilidh is Dave Milner.

The ceilidh is taking place on Saturday, 8th November 2008, 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm at Broadmayne Village Hall, Dorset. Tickets £7.00 (includes membership) or £6.00 (existing members).
