Whilst at the warm up bash to Wessex Folk Festival bash at the Kings Head, I got the chance to meet Roger and Jo Quigley who run the Wednesday Folk Music Session at the Sailors Return, Weymouth (see photo of Roger and Jo).
They were telling me about their philosophy of ensuring all performers got a good chance to play or sing at their sessions.
I can relate to those sorts of ethics and am looking forward to playing and singing with them at the Wessex Folk Festival 6 - 8 June 2008.
